Help Lokain & Wilson find safety, education and a new life from the Sudan war.
Help fund independent free media in Sudan.
The ongoing war between the Sudanese Army (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has led to a massive humanitarian crisis, including genocide in Darfur, the world’s largest famine, and the displacement of nearly 15 million people.
This critical story has been silenced by the armed actors. They have persecuted journalists and shut down the internet across much of the country. International media is not permitted to report freely. Despite this, independent media organizations like the Ayin Network have been tirelessly documenting and reporting on the war and humanitarian crisis.
Ayin has trained and supported journalists across Sudan since 2013, including the directors of Kharotum. In the face of funding cuts they continue to produce powerful documentaries and report for international media outlets like the New York Times.
